Basildon’s Big Idea

Do you have a great idea that will benefit your local community? Have you always wanted to run your own business? Perhaps you have Basildon’s Big Idea!

Come along to this fun, casual evening where you will have a chance to pitch for funding for your community business idea. Whether you are a newly-formed group, existing social enterprise, or perhaps you have an idea but just haven’t got it off the ground?

The format is very simple, attendees pay £5 on entry for a light supper, and a vote. Those pitching an idea will then get 5 minutes to pitch, as well as time at the end for questions. The best pitch of the evening is voted for by the audience, and the winner receives all the money received, plus an additional package of business support!

Come along and pitch, or just attend to network and hear about some of the exciting, transformational ideas in Basildon!

Please note pitchers must be aged 18 and above.
