“Essex County Council are striving to increase apprenticeships within the county. To provide quality opportunities for learning and development to strengthen the Essex economy. The Essex Apprenticeship Levy Transfer Service has now launched and will allow levy donors to utilise unspent levy enabling other organisations to recruit apprentices. This will lead to increased learning and training opportunities for residents, and long-term benefits for the Essex Economy.

Levy paying businesses can transfer up to 25% of their annual funds to other businesses to fund apprenticeship training. The Levy transfer service will help to facilitate this.

Large organisations can utilise unspent levy to create a vibrant and diverse economy. Gifting your levy to strengthen your supply chain, demonstrate corporate social responsibility or to create strategic partnerships. The Essex market will also enjoy increased skill provision becoming robust and providing Essex businesses the skilled labour force they require.
